L'Altromondo - from another world
Pop art united with music! It was followed at the end of the 60's by the Mach 2 in Florence, the Piper Club in Turin and the L'Altro Mondo in Rimini. The latter is the only one to survive to the present day, making it one of the original clubs that called themselves "Radical Disco". Daft Punk always obtained licenses and credited original artists, but some fans wonder if their hits would exist without those samples. The fact remains: They transformed old sounds into something entirely new – and that is an art form
DOK: Vinylmania - Covers & Music
Directed by Paolo Campana, the film dives into the lives of collectors, DJs, record store owners, and music lovers who have stayed loyal to vinyl through the digital age From Tokyo to San Francisco to Paris, the film captures how vinyl is more than just a format — it's a way of life, a symbol of high-quality sound, nostalgia, and intentional music listening. In an era dominated by streaming, vinyl records are making a powerful comeback. It has become a symbol of musical passion and slower, more mindful consumption — and with sales now surpassing CDs, it's clearly striking a chord with a new generation of listeners.
